About me

I’m Paola Daverio, a Milanese stylist and costume designer.
When I first started out in this field, I studied fashion and design, looking also at history in terms of social norms. Indeed, sociological and historical aspects combined with imagination help me create characters and manifest the spirit within. Yes, I like researching rules and regulations which define a specific behaviour, a group, an epoch. On the other hand, I like mixing this up and rethinking things through to create a possible parallel world. I seek perfection through elegance and the aesthetic but I also enjoy working on humourous projects in a world of absurdity. Music and the cello, which I studied for years, have helped me to shape my creativity. I define my work as, “ harmonic madness”.
